Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Swedish massage is also available for 30 minutes at $40, 45 minutes at $60 and 90 minutes at $100. Therapeutic grade essential oils are used with each massage and hot stones are used upon request or as needed to release tension in muscles at no extra charge.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.
90 minute deep tissue $110. Therapeutic grade essential oils are used with each massage and hot stones are used upon request or as needed to release tension in muscles at no extra charge.
The deep heat of the sauna helps peripheral blood vessels dilate, bringing relief and healing to muscle and soft tissue injuries. Increased blood circulation carries off metabolic waste and delivers oxygen rich blood to oxygen-depleted muscles, therefore, recovering faster. This treatment has been proven effective in the treatment of sprains, neuralgia, bursitis, muscle spasms, joint stiffness and even burns calories and controls weight while helping to clear ugly cellulite. This is an excellent treatment added prior to your massage.
Seated Chair Massage
Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.
Chair massage is also offered for 30 minutes at $40, and 40 minutes at $50.
Deep tissue work is done on the upper body and neck to relieve tension on tight muscles causing tension headaches. Work is also done on sinus pressure points to relieve sinus pressure.
Spa Foot Reflexology
Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.
Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.

- Gentle range-of-motion and stretching movements to relieve pressure through neck, shoulders, rib cage, lower back and hips, to promote flexibility

Massage in the postpartum period helps bring the body into it's pre-pregnancy alignment. A massage within the first week of postpartum feels wonderful. It flushes lactic acid out of the tissues relieving sore and achy muscles. It also:
- Releases shoulder, neck and arm tension from the care and feeding of an infant
- Aids in the process of the uterus returning to its normal size
- Helps relieve tension from the birth process
- Encourages pelvic and abdominal organs to return to pre-pregnant positions
*During your first session, your therapist can also teach you how to massage your newborn.
Infant massage aids in the bonding process between parent and child, increases communication skills through touch, alleviates digestive discomfort (colic), supports the growth of nerve pathways and enhances sleep.
(expect this session to run about 90 minutes if your bring your newborn with you)
Spinal Raindrop Therapy
The Spinal Raindrop Technique uses non-invasive massage and a combination of therapeutic grade essential oils that are dropped along the spine like rain to alleviate symptoms of scoliosis, kyphosis, and other back ailments while strengthening the immune system. SRT produces deep relaxation and helps release stubborn emotions, relieves sore muscles, tendons, and ligaments. The essential oils work together to attack viral and bacterial pathogens, reduce inflammation, curb digestive upset, and relive the body of joint discomfort. Due to the fact that SRT produces deep relaxation, it is suggested that this service be conducted at a later appointment time.
